Research

Interfaces, Plasma, Microwaves

The IGVP dedicated to one part of the design and functionalization of surfaces and nanomaterials, the study of interactions with biological interfaces and process development interface of certain processes. In the second area low-temperature plasmas are available for surface activation, microwave for stabilization of high-temperature plasmas in fusion-oriented plasma physics and dynamical properties of plasmas and electromagnetic waves (plasma diagnostics) in the scientific focus.

The Institute’s research activities are grouped in six thematic categories:

Interfacial Engineering
  • Biological-Medical Interfaces
  • Chemical-Physical Interfaces
  • Interfacial Processes
Plasma and Microwave Technology
  • Plasma Technology
  • Microwave Technology
  • Plasma Dynamics and Diagnostics
