Pfaffenwald University Observatory of the Astronomy Working Group

For IGVP also includes the University Observatory Pfaffenwald built in 1934 by Hermann Fellmeth. The Observatory has a Cassegrain telescope, the largest functioning Schupmann medial telescope in Europe and is managed since 1981 by the University's astronomy working group, which also organizes a series of lectures on interesting astronomical topics.
