Last week, the CampUS Run took place at the University of Stuttgart, setting a new record with over 1000 participants. The IGVP participated and we also set a new record with 12 IGVP-members, our team has never been so strong! The name of our team, “IGVP runaways”, refers to electrons in a magnetically confined plasma, which simply become faster and faster once they have exceeded a certain speed and are therefore unstoppable. The CampUS Run was great fun and as you can see from the picture immediately after the run, we were still in high spirits afterwards.
