In the Department of Interfacial Process Engineering & Biofabrication, we are continuously offer the possibilities for

Research Focus
Our work focuses on the biofabrication of functional tissues. This includes in particular:
- development of innovative processes and materials for biomedical applications
- research in the field of cell-based foods (e.g. cultivated meat, chicken, fish)
- medium and material development
- 3D cell culture
- biomaterials and bioinks
- biofabrication and its scaling
- biointelligent processes using machine learning
The projects are primarily carried out at the IGVP on Nobelstraße 12.
Your Profile
- interest in interdisciplinary research at the interface of biology, materials science and engineering
- careful, reliable and independent working style
- depending on the project: prior experience in cell culture, biomaterials, biofabrication or related fields is an advantage
